Hebrew course : Mondays 9:00-14:00 starting 24.3.25
English course: Wednesday 16:00-21:00 starting 26.3.25
Location: Kfar Sirkin, in a small and intimate group (10–15 participants).
Includes field trips and treats from our food forest!
Graduates will receive an International pdc Permaculture design Certificate .

🍀 Course Syllabus:
Lesson1 – Introduction to Permaculture: Guided tour of the food forest, an introduction to permaculture ethics, and experiencing the abundance of nature.
Lesson 2-Principles of Planting: Learn seed germination, propagation techniques, seed preservation, and creating plant guilds.
Lesson 3- Food Forests: Discover the layers of vegetation, soil mulching, water conservation, and integrating animals into a food forest.
Lesson 4- The Soil Beneath Us: Soil testing, recognizing soil types, understanding microorganisms, and creating no-dig gardens.
Lesson 5- Patterns in Nature: Observing natural patterns and using them in

design. Learn about zones, sectors, and resource flow (inputs and outputs).
Lesson 6- Designing with Peter: Hands-on learning in site observation, mapping, and project planning
Lesson 7- Sustainable Gardening Practices: Tree pruning, natural pest control, and grafting fruit trees
Lesson 8- Water, Soil, and Energy: Greywater systems, water-saving techniques, composting, and exploring ecological energy solutions.
Lesson 9- Community-Based Permaculture: Building eco-communities, sharing resources, and creating local sustainability projects.
Lesson 10- Urban Permaculture: A tour with Talia Schneider to explore urban gardening and bioregional concepts
Lesson 11- The Health of Herbs: Foraging for wild and medicinal plants, making oils, and tinctures for physical and mental well-being.
Lesson 12- Planning for Resilience: Techniques for food preservation and earning a living through permaculture
Lesson 13- Tailored Session: A topic chosen collaboratively by the group
Lesson 14- Preparation for Final Projects: Questions, clarifications, and reviewing key lessons
Lesson 15- Final Project Presentations: Showcase personal or group projects, receive your certificate, and celebrate at our closing event.
